Agile Flow Consulting is the independent practice of Maykel Gomez. I got into Agile the way most practitioners do, by being handed a broken team and asked to fix it. What I found when I dug in was almost always the same: the people were capable, the process was the problem. That insight has driven every engagement since.

For 14+ years I have worked inside energy companies, healthcare systems, financial services organizations, retail technology groups, and hospitality enterprises, mapping value streams, coaching executives, and designing ways of working that stick long after I leave. My work is grounded in flow: I measure it, visualize it, and systematically eliminate what is slowing it down. The outcomes highlighted on this site are drawn from actual engagement data and documented delivery metrics from client work-tracking systems.

I use AI tools in my own workflow daily — for process documentation, data analysis, and prototype design. When it makes sense, I help clients identify where AI can reduce manual effort in their existing workflows, starting with what’s practical today rather than what’s theoretical.

From the Team Room to the Executive Suite

My engagements range from hands-on team coaching — redesigning standups, setting WIP limits, and building flow dashboards — to program-level work across multiple teams, including DORA metrics, Communities of Practice, and cross-team coordination design. I also deliver structured Service Delivery Reviews to VP and SVP-level leadership, translating flow data into the strategic conversations that drive organizational decisions. The common thread is measurement: every intervention is tied to data, and every recommendation is grounded in what the numbers actually show.
